Change image format: HEIC, WebP, PNG, SVG to JPG or PDF
Pick the format you have and the one you need. Every page has the tool pre-set for that pair, and lists what the change keeps and loses (transparency, animation, metadata, quality).
Each page also shows the size of the same 4 test images (portrait photo, landscape photo, scanned typed letter, flat chart with a transparent background) before and after the change, each file decoded and saved again the way PixelFit does it, measured on 31 October 2026. From JPG

From JFIF

From PNG
- PNG to JPG −94% on our portrait PNG to JPG shrank our 1281×1600 px portrait from 4.46 MB to 254 KB (−94%) at quality 85, but a flat chart stayed about the same (39.7 KB → 39.6 KB) and lost its crisp edges.
- PNG to PDF −94% on our portrait PNG to PDF stores the picture as a JPEG on one page, so photos shrink a lot (our portrait: 4.46 MB PNG → 254 KB PDF, −94%) while a flat chart barely changes (39.7 KB → 40.3 KB).
- PNG to WebP −97% on our portrait PNG to WebP shrank our 1281×1600 px test portrait from 4.46 MB to 141 KB (−97%).
From WebP
- WebP to JPG +61% on our portrait WebP to JPG gives you a file every form and app opens, but rarely a smaller one: our 1281×1600 px portrait went from 141 KB as WebP to 227 KB as JPG, both at quality 85 (+61%).
- WebP to PDF +61% on our portrait WebP to PDF grew our 1281×1600 px test portrait from 141 KB to 227 KB (+61%).
- WebP to PNG +1,749% on our portrait WebP to PNG keeps transparency and every decoded pixel, but the file grows: our portrait went from 141 KB to 2.55 MB, our transparent chart from 14.1 KB to 120 KB.
From HEIC
