Resize an image to 600×750 pixels
To resize an image to 600×750 px, enter 600 × 750 px and pick crop to fill so the 4:5 frame is not stretched: a 4:3 phone photo loses 40% of its area (a centred 2419×3024 crop). The result has 0.45 megapixels; as a JPEG, a head-and-shoulders portrait is about 71.9 KB at the panel's default quality 85 (53.9 KB at quality 75).

What 600×750 means in pixels
600×750 is a portrait frame, 1.25 times as tall as it is wide, 450,000 pixels in total (0.45 megapixels). Its sides reduce to 4:5 (0.8 as a decimal), so any picture cropped to 4:5 scales to it without distortion.
A 12 MP phone photo has 27 times as many pixels, so reaching 600×750 is a clean reduction with no invented detail. Shown 1:1 it fills 600×750 CSS px on a standard screen and 300×375 CSS px on a 2× (Retina-class) screen; at 72 DPI the same pixels span 8.3×10.4 inches.
Decoded for editing it occupies 1.72 MB of memory (4 bytes per pixel); uncompressed 24-bit RGB would be 1.29 MB, which is why the downloadable JPEG, PNG or WebP is far smaller.

Each line comes from the official notice listed under Sources, checked October 2026. Rules change: verify with the notice before you submit.

Getting 600×750 from a phone, camera or screenshot
Filling 600×750 from a vertical phone video frame (1080×1920, 9:16) loses the least (29.7%); a Full HD screenshot (1920×1080, 16:9) loses the most (55%). "Fit inside" keeps the whole picture instead and the file comes out at the size in the last column; "Pad with colour" adds bars to reach the full 600×750. From the phone photo PixelFit takes the 2419×3024 crop through 1209×1512 and 604×756 before the last step to 600×750, so each pass blends neighbouring pixels instead of skipping them.
| Starting image | Crop to fill keeps | Area lost | Scale | Fit inside gives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12 MP phone photo (4032×3024, 4:3) | 2419×3024 (left and right cut) | 40% | 0.248× (reduced) | 600×450 |

| Full HD screenshot (1920×1080, 16:9) | 864×1080 (left and right cut) | 55% | 0.694× (reduced) | 600×338 |

How many KB is a 600×750 image?
Estimated from encodes of real sample images measured with sharp 0.35.5 / libvips 8.18.7 on 31 October 2026, interpolated to 450,000 pixels. A head-and-shoulders portrait at 600×750 is about 53.9 KB at quality 75 and a scanned page about 71.2 KB; your file will differ with detail and noise.

Will a 600×750 photo fit an upload limit?
The highest JPEG or WebP quality that stays under each limit at exactly 600×750 px, from the same measurements. Set the KB limit next to the pixel size and PixelFit runs this search on your own photo. For the 50 KB minimum in the notice above, a portrait at 600×750 needs about quality 75 or higher, and it stays under the 10 MB maximum even at quality 95.

How to resize a picture to 600×750
-
Add the picture
Drop, paste or pick the photo in the PixelFit panel at the top of this page; it is decoded in your browser and never uploaded.
-
Set the size
Enter 600 as the width and 750 as the height in pixels (the panel is already set to 600×750).
-
Choose how it fits
Choose crop to fill to keep the 4:5 frame without stretching (a phone photo loses 40%, left and right cut). Fit inside keeps the whole picture as a 600×450 file instead; Pad with colour puts that on a full 600×750 canvas.
-
Pick the format and download
Choose JPG or WebP; without a KB limit PixelFit saves JPG at quality 85, about 71.9 KB for a head-and-shoulders portrait. Add a KB limit if the upload has one or the file should be smaller, then download the 600x750 file.
