Where the 600 KB go in a JPG-to-PDF file

Of the 600,000 bytes that pass as 600 KB under both KB definitions, PDF structure takes 738 bytes for one A4 page (computed with PixelFit's own writer), leaving 599,262 bytes, 99.8 %, for the JPEG; ten pages leave 59,475 bytes each.

For one photo, quality 75 allows 1,762 × 1,321 pixels and quality 90 1,382 × 1,036; a full 12 MP frame must be scaled down first, which the tool does for you.
