Why pick each one instead of Simple Image Resizer

Each difference below is worked out from the published prices, plan limits and file pickers, checked 31 October 2026.

  • PixelFit instead of Simple Image Resizer

Free for single photos and batches of up to 25, with no account; PixelFit Pro is $12 one-time, against $19.99 a year for Simple Image Resizer Annual ($19.99 over a year). It takes a minimum and a maximum file size and a pixel or print size at a DPI, and 61 pages open it set to the photo or signature rules of a named form. The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded; for Simple Image Resizer, our capture suggests server processing but could not confirm it.

  • iLoveIMG instead of Simple Image Resizer

Its cheapest paid plan, Premium at $5 a month, comes to $60 over a year, $40.01 more than Simple Image Resizer Annual ($19.99 over a year). It also offers crop, photo editor, upscale, remove background, meme generator, rotate, HTML to image and blur face, which we did not find on Simple Image Resizer's captured pages. Pick it if you need many different image jobs in one place: its home page lists 13 tools, including background removal, upscaling, watermarks, face blurring and HTML to image, none of which PixelFit does.

  • ImageResizer.com instead of Simple Image Resizer

Its cheapest paid plan, Pro at $6.99 a month, comes to $83.88 over a year, $63.89 more than Simple Image Resizer Annual ($19.99 over a year). Its paid batches go up to 100 images, against 25 on Simple Image Resizer. It also offers crop, upscale (an image enlarger page), remove background (a link to ClipSnap) and meme generator, which we did not find on Simple Image Resizer's captured pages. Pick it if you handle very large files: Pro accepts up to 50 MB per image and Ultra up to 1 GB, while PixelFit has no MB limit of its own but outputs at most 16.8 megapixels on iPhone and iPad and 64 megapixels elsewhere.

What to check before you leave Simple Image Resizer

  • Phone app: Simple Image Resizer has a mobile app on Apple's App Store, linked from its home page; PixelFit runs in the phone's browser and has no app.
  • Batches: Simple Image Resizer's paid plans name batches of up to 25 images at once on every paid plan; it publishes no free batch size in our capture. PixelFit takes 25 per batch for free and 500 with Pro.
  • Price: Simple Image Resizer's published plans are Monthly at $2.99 a month and Annual at $19.99 a year. A subscription keeps billing until you cancel it; a one-time price does not renew.

When staying with Simple Image Resizer makes sense

Simple Image Resizer is a free online image resizer whose Monthly and Annual plans remove ads and list batch processing of up to 25 images at once as a benefit.

  • Stay if you want an app on your phone: its home page links to a mobile app on Apple's App Store, while PixelFit runs in the browser only.
  • Stay if you want a low yearly subscription: its Annual plan is $19.99 a year and also removes ads.
  • Stay if you also compress PDF files or add watermarks: it has tools for both, which PixelFit does not.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest alternative to Simple Image Resizer?

PixelFit is free for single photos and batches of up to 25, and its Pro is $12 one-time. Of the other subscriptions, iLoveIMG Premium at $5 a month costs the least over a year ($60); Simple Image Resizer Annual comes to $19.99 over a year (checked 31 October 2026). Its pricing page also shows a $59 figure that our capture did not tie to a plan, so check whether that is a yearly option.

Is there a Simple Image Resizer alternative that does not upload photos?

PixelFit processes every photo in your browser and has no upload server, so ID photos and signatures stay on your device. For iLoveIMG, our capture suggests server processing but could not confirm it. ImageResizer.com's home page has a section headed 'Privacy Guaranteed', but our capture did not record its wording, so check its privacy policy. Check each privacy policy before uploading a document.

Which Simple Image Resizer alternative takes the biggest batches?

ImageResizer.com names batches of up to 100 images on its largest plan. PixelFit takes 25 per batch for free, with a download per file, and 500 in one ZIP with Pro.

Can I hit an exact file size like 50 KB with these alternatives?

PixelFit is built for it: type a maximum, or a range such as 20 to 50 KB, and it searches the quality until the file fits, reading a KB as both 1,000 and 1,024 bytes. Simple Image Resizer, the tool you are replacing, links a resize-image-to-KB page from its home page. The captured pages of iLoveIMG and ImageResizer.com do not show a KB target.
