PixelFit or Simple Image Resizer: which one fits your photo job?
Pick Simple Image Resizer if you want an app on your phone or you want a low yearly subscription. Pick PixelFit if you need a photo at an exact KB and pixel size for a form, done on your device: free for batches of up to 25, no account. Facts checked 31 October 2026.
Try it: a JPG between 20 and 50 KB
JPG · 20-50 KB (20,480-50,000 bytes) · original pixel size · white background
PixelFit aims between 20,480 and 50,000 bytes, so the file passes whether the form counts 1 KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.
The result appears here: the exact byte count, pixel size and quality, the size before and after, a preview and a download button.
The batch kit (one ZIP for up to 500 photos, several photos merged into one PDF) is part of Pro.

When Simple Image Resizer is the better choice
Simple Image Resizer is a free online image resizer whose Monthly and Annual plans remove ads and list batch processing of up to 25 images at once as a benefit. Its home page offers free resizing, with a file picker that takes several files at once.
- Choose Simple Image Resizer if you want an app on your phone: its home page links to a mobile app on Apple's App Store, while PixelFit runs in the browser only.
- Choose Simple Image Resizer if you want a low yearly subscription: its Annual plan is $19.99 a year and also removes ads.
- Choose Simple Image Resizer if you also compress PDF files or add watermarks: it has tools for both, which PixelFit does not.
When PixelFit is the better choice
- You need a file between two sizes, such as 20 to 50 KB: PixelFit takes a minimum and a maximum and counts a KB both as 1,000 and as 1,024 bytes, so the file passes either reading. Simple Image Resizer also has a resize-to-KB page; the minimum and the double reading are the parts to compare.
- You are filling in an official form: 61 pages give the photo or signature rules of a named form (27 give both), with its notice linked, and open the tool already set to it.
- You would rather not upload an ID photo or a signature: PixelFit works on your device and has no upload server; for Simple Image Resizer, our capture suggests server processing but could not confirm it.
- You prefer to pay once: PixelFit Pro is $12 one-time; Simple Image Resizer Annual costs $19.99 a year, $19.99 over a year.
- You want batches without paying: PixelFit's free tool takes up to 25 images with a download per file; Simple Image Resizer's paid plans name batches of up to 25 images at once on every paid plan, and it publishes no free batch size in our capture.
