Alternatives to iLoveIMG for resizing and compressing photos
Pick PixelFit for an exact KB range or a form photo size, done on your device (free; Pro $12 one-time); ImageResizer.com if you handle very large files (from $6.99 a month); Simple Image Resizer if you want an app on your phone (from $2.99 a month). All of them resize and compress photos like iLoveIMG.
Try it: a JPG under 200 KB
JPG · under 200 KB (at most 200,000 bytes) · original pixel size · white background
PixelFit aims at 200,000 bytes or less, so the file passes whether the form counts 1 KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.
The result appears here: the exact byte count, pixel size and quality, the size before and after, a preview and a download button.
The batch kit (one ZIP for up to 500 photos, several photos merged into one PDF) is part of Pro.

Why pick each one instead of iLoveIMG
Each difference below is worked out from the published prices, plan limits and file pickers, checked 31 October 2026.
-
PixelFit instead of iLoveIMG
Free for single photos and batches of up to 25, with no account; PixelFit Pro is $12 one-time, against $5 a month for iLoveIMG Premium ($60 over a year). It takes a minimum and a maximum file size and a pixel or print size at a DPI, and 61 pages open it set to the photo or signature rules of a named form. The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded; for iLoveIMG, our capture suggests server processing but could not confirm it.

What to check before you leave iLoveIMG
- Tools you would give up: photo editor, rotate, HTML to image and blur face. We did not find them on the captured pages of the 3 alternatives here.
- Language: iLoveIMG has 25 languages besides English in its sitemap; PixelFit is in English only.
- Price: iLoveIMG's published plans are Premium at $5 a month. A subscription keeps billing until you cancel it; a one-time price does not renew. Its pricing page also shows a $59 figure that our capture did not tie to a plan, so check whether that is a yearly option.
When staying with iLoveIMG makes sense

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest alternative to iLoveIMG?
PixelFit is free for single photos and batches of up to 25, and its Pro is $12 one-time. Of the other subscriptions, Simple Image Resizer Annual at $19.99 a year costs the least over a year ($19.99); iLoveIMG Premium comes to $60 over a year (checked 31 October 2026). Its pricing page also shows a $59 figure that our capture did not tie to a plan, so check whether that is a yearly option.
Is there an iLoveIMG alternative that does not upload photos?
PixelFit processes every photo in your browser and has no upload server, so ID photos and signatures stay on your device. ImageResizer.com's home page has a section headed 'Privacy Guaranteed', but our capture did not record its wording, so check its privacy policy. For Simple Image Resizer, our capture suggests server processing but could not confirm it. Check each privacy policy before uploading a document.
Which iLoveIMG alternative takes the biggest batches?
ImageResizer.com names batches of up to 100 images on its largest plan. PixelFit takes 25 per batch for free, with a download per file, and 500 in one ZIP with Pro.
Can I hit an exact file size like 50 KB with these alternatives?
PixelFit is built for it: type a maximum, or a range such as 20 to 50 KB, and it searches the quality until the file fits, reading a KB as both 1,000 and 1,024 bytes. Simple Image Resizer links a resize-image-to-KB page from its home page; we did not capture how it works. The captured pages of iLoveIMG and ImageResizer.com do not show a KB target.
